DEVOTE YOURSELF TO YOUR COMMUNITY
“Devote yourself to creating something that motivates others to give back to theirs. Vibes & Smiles is stronger as a community. Being apart of a community helps empower each one of us to do and be something greater than ourselves. It gives us an opportunity to connect with one another and create an energy that iS continuously growing and glowing.”

City Team Ministries
Each year, school districts are allotted a budget for school supplies for their classrooms, which is never enough. CityTeam Ministries, City Team in The Neighborhood is passionate about helping individuals and families in the communities who are struggling with poverty, homelessness, and addictions. Its mission is to restore lives and rebuild communities through innovative programs which offer food, shelter, clothing, training, and spiritual transformation.
Their programs offer a variety of resources to meet the needs and provide help to those needing services and supplies. Some of the programs they provide are housing and restorative programs, community outreach, homeless resources, economic empowerment, etc. The cities that they serve in California are San Francisco, San Jose, Oakland, as well as Portland, OR., and Chester, PA. They are committed to helping others and improving their lives.
Senor Sisig
Senor Sisig is a Bay Area food truck whose fusion sisig burritos and tacos pioneered the Filipino-American food scene. The brand has grown throughout the decade. The food truck has been around since 2010, at the beginning of the street food craze. The Covid-19 pandemic has the potential of creating a hunger crisis in our community. Low-income seniors are among the groups that are being affected particularly hard by this pandemic.
Founders, Evan Kidera and Gil Payumo, have created a campaign, Sisig 4 the People, to not only provide 10,000 meals for those in need but will also allow them to keep their valuable and hard-working staff employed through this pandemic. All donated funds will be used for the campaign. Once the shelter-in-place order was lifted, Senor Sisig will continue donating meals until all donated funds have been used up.
