Volunteering with Vibes & Smiles and Neighborhood Hands

Each outreach day, our unhoused neighbors take the lead in cleaning and caring for our city parks.
After their hard work, we host an outreach area where they can receive food, water, hygiene kits, clothing, and other essentials served by volunteers like you!

What We Do:

Your Role as a Volunteer:

You’ll help set up, organize, and distribute essential items, creating a welcoming space filled with kindness and community.
You’re not cleaning the park , you’re helping uplift those who do

Volunteers must be at least 13 years old to participate.

Ages 13–16: Must have a parent, legal guardian, or authorized school/program representative present during their volunteer service.

Age Requirements:

• Setup: 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
• Distribution: 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. (and sometimes longer!)

🕗 Event Schedule:

💖 When You Arrive:

Check in at the Vibes & Smiles tent, where our team will greet you and get you started.

We also welcome in-kind donations (food, clothing, hygiene kits) and monetary contributions to help sustain our outreach.
